I don't feel ill, why should I look for a problem?
Most laboratories define their "normal" range by drawing the blood of between 100 and 1000 people and then following a “distribution” curve to help
define what they consider normal. Generally, a normal curve encompasses almost 98% of the values obtained. Most of us would agree, that 98% of the population is not normal.
Why isn't proper diet enough?
Proper diet is very important, but it is often not enough. Due to depletion of the soil, food processing, and the use of farm chemicals, our food chain often lacks proper nutrition. Adding nutritional supplements can supply our bodies with the necessary ingredients to help the human body heal itself.
What does CFW do that is different?
We believe at the Center for Wellness that Integrative Medicine is the best approach. While we practice primary care, our focus is nutritional and environmental illness. Our approach is designed to work with your existing treatments to help your body heal itself. Our emphasis is correcting dietary imbalances and facilitating the removal of environmental contaminants.
What else can I expect?
Chronic illnesses do not develop overnight and they are not reversed overnight. The body is quite complicated and the treatments we recommend take time to implement. Our office visits are typically longer than most. We look deep to uncover the cause of illness, not just the symptoms. We also want you to have a full understanding of all the issues. We believe that a well-informed patient is our best patient and one that will recover faster.
